Megan Bosarge is a middle school educator, theater director, comedian, and romance writer from Brunswick, Maine. The Crazy Test, her debut novel, is due to be released in late 2026. 

 

Megan’s road to becoming an author was an unlikely one. As an English teacher turned literacy specialist, Megan has always been a lover of words. Coaching students to become great readers and writers has been one of her life’s greatest passions. In 2020, when the world turned dystopian, Megan decided to get lost in a genre previously foreign to her…romance. Soon, Megan’s hunger for swoony, hilarious comfort reads became insatiable. It wasn’t long until a nagging voice in the back of her head screamed, “Let’s write our own romcom!” 

 

As much as Megan would love to say she wrote the book, got published, and lived happily ever after, it didn’t quite happen that way. But the best victories are the ones that take time, hard work, and a lot of patience. Megan went on to write three books, the third of which caught the attention of Brother Mockingbird Publishing. While The Crazy Test is Megan’s debut novel, you can be sure it won’t be her last.

 

When she’s not writing, you can find Megan in the classroom, directing musicals, training for long distance running events, and posting funny videos on Instagram. But her heart is happiest in the presence of her husband and two kids, who continuously remind her that the best love stories are messy yet simple, flawed yet perfect, and always make you feel better in the end.
